Direct answer
Tattoo shop management software organizes the operational work behind a studio, including artist bookings, calendars, client records, payments, and reporting. InkSchedule keeps those parts connected while giving each artist a branded client experience and a workflow built around tattoo appointments.
What artists get
Clients choose an artist first, then see that artist's services and shop availability. Artists can keep their own branded booking pages too.
Keep client details, appointments, messages, and payment activity together instead of splitting them across tools.
Review collected revenue separately from scheduled revenue, with artist and shop financial views built from appointment and payment activity.
See how clients choose an artist, service, and available time before completing the booking.
Keep payment activity tied to the appointment instead of reconciling disconnected records.
Review the $10 booking fee and applicable 3% InkSchedule online service fee.
How it works
01
Create the services and booking information clients need for each artist workflow.
02
Keep booking requests, schedules, client records, and communication in one connected system.
03
Track deposits, balances, receipts, refunds, and eligible in-person card payments with the appointment.
04
Use reporting built from actual booking and payment activity to understand what is happening in the shop.
Why InkSchedule exists
Dylan Harris created InkSchedule from the perspective of a tattoo shop owner who saw how much artist time was lost moving between booking forms, calendars, messages, payment tools, and spreadsheets. The goal is simple: give artists and shops one focused system that follows the real tattoo workflow.
Dylan Harris · Founder of InkSchedule
That perspective comes from From Ashes to Ink, a tattoo shop in Hiawassee, Georgia. InkSchedule is a separate product owned by InkSchedule LLC.
Common questions
InkSchedule is built for both independent tattoo artists and tattoo shops that need connected booking, scheduling, client, payment, and reporting tools.
Yes. The booking experience is designed to present the artist and services clearly while keeping the operational information connected.
Yes. After a client selects an artist, the shop booking flow uses that artist's active residency in the selected shop, along with the service duration, existing appointments, and blocked time. It does not treat all artists as sharing one open calendar.
Individual artists pay $0 per month for the software. Shop plans are separate paid subscriptions, so the artist offer should not be read as free shop management. A $10 booking fee and applicable 3% InkSchedule online service fee also apply; clients see the total before authorizing card payment.
Tattoo-specific software can follow the actual path from inquiry and service selection through deposits, the appointment, final payment, and client history without forcing the shop into a generic workflow.
Individual artists pay $0 per month for the software. Shop plans are separate paid subscriptions. A $10 booking fee applies to each appointment. Card payments processed through InkSchedule, including online checkout and eligible Tap to Pay, include a 3% InkSchedule online service fee. Clients see their total before authorizing payment.
