How InkSchedule fees work
Artists can create appointments, send a deposit pay-now link, and show clients clear totals before payment. Fees are displayed in checkout, not hidden.

2. Booking fees
$10 booking fee
InkSchedule applies a $10 booking fee on appointment payments.
3. Card fee handling
+3% digital fee on digital payments
When a payment is processed digitally through the app, a 3% digital fee is added at checkout. Cash, Cash App, Venmo, and Zelle do not use this digital fee.
During appointment creation, artists can enable Send deposit email now. When enabled, the client receives a secure link to pay the deposit immediately.
If disabled, the appointment is still created, but the client does not receive an automatic deposit payment email.
I set it up this way because I want payment tracking to be clean and fee logic to be clear up front. I do not want artists spending mental energy on booking-fee math or digital-fee edge cases.
Artists should focus on art. The fee logic is for some coding guy to figure out (that is me).
