Direct answer

What is tattoo booking software?

Tattoo booking software lets clients choose a service and available time without organizing the appointment across separate messages. With InkSchedule, an artist can share a personal booking page, or a shop can share one link where clients choose their artist first. The flow collects client details, the required waiver and deposit when configured, and keeps the booking connected to the artist's calendar and client record.

Why InkSchedule exists

Built from inside a tattoo shop

Dylan Harris created InkSchedule from the perspective of a tattoo shop owner who saw how much artist time was lost moving between booking forms, calendars, messages, payment tools, and spreadsheets. The goal is simple: give artists and shops one focused system that follows the real tattoo workflow.

Dylan Harris · Founder of InkSchedule

That perspective comes from From Ashes to Ink, a tattoo shop in Hiawassee, Georgia. InkSchedule is a separate product owned by InkSchedule LLC.

Common questions

Straight answers before you switch

Can clients book from an Instagram bio link?

Yes. Artists can share their InkSchedule booking page anywhere a link can be used, including Instagram, Facebook, a website, or a direct message.

Does InkSchedule keep client details with the appointment?

Yes. Booking details stay connected to the client record and appointment so the artist can work from the same information later.

Can InkSchedule collect a tattoo deposit?

Yes. When a deposit is required in the booking settings, clients can pay it during the booking flow. Artists can also send a secure deposit payment link for an appointment they create. The payment stays connected to that appointment.

Can clients choose an artist from one tattoo shop booking link?

Yes. A shop booking page starts with artist selection. The client then books with that artist's services and availability in the shop, instead of using a generic schedule for everyone.

How does InkSchedule decide which booking times to show?

Booking availability takes the selected artist and service into account, including working availability, existing appointments, blocked time, and service duration. Shop bookings use the artist's active shop residency. If the selected date has no suitable times, the page can suggest the next available opening.

Can clients complete a tattoo waiver when booking?

Yes. The booking flow includes the applicable waiver. Shops and solo artists can edit and format their waiver terms and configure whether a photo ID is required. Clients complete the required steps before finishing the booking.
