Direct answer

How does tattoo payment software help an artist?

Tattoo payment software helps an artist collect deposits, send secure payment links, accept eligible in-person card payments, and track what has been paid against an appointment. InkSchedule keeps that activity connected to the client and schedule instead of leaving the artist to reconcile separate payment records.

What artists get

Built around the tattoo appointment

Deposits tied to appointments

Send a payment link and keep the resulting deposit connected to the correct client and appointment.

Tap to Pay on iPhone

Accept eligible in-person contactless payments from a supported iPhone without adding a separate card reader.

Financial visibility

Review payment activity, expected balances, refunds, fees, and reporting without rebuilding a spreadsheet.

How it works

One connected path from request to record

01

Keep the expected amount with the appointment that created it.

03

Accept the remaining payment

Use online checkout or eligible Tap to Pay on iPhone for a card payment, or record in-person cash.

04

Review the record

See the appointment payment activity and business reporting in the same workflow.

Why InkSchedule exists

Built from inside a tattoo shop

Dylan Harris created InkSchedule from the perspective of a tattoo shop owner who saw how much artist time was lost moving between booking forms, calendars, messages, payment tools, and spreadsheets. The goal is simple: give artists and shops one focused system that follows the real tattoo workflow.

Dylan Harris · Founder of InkSchedule

That perspective comes from From Ashes to Ink, a tattoo shop in Hiawassee, Georgia. InkSchedule is a separate product owned by InkSchedule LLC.
